Starparade (TV Series 1968–1980)

Storyline. Starparade was a German TV show broadcast on Germany's second TV largest broadcaster ZDF for twelve consecutive years between 1968 and 1980. It's first broadcast was on Saturday 14th March 1968 from the Siegerlandhalle in Siegen, Germany, still in black and white. Later, the program spot switched from Saturday to Thursday night where it stayed until the show's end on 5th June 1980.

Initially, Starparade was scheduled for Saturday night, but was later moved to Thursday. The series was initially due to be filmed in Colour, but the first 13 episodes were transmitted in Black and white.
