Now, some 70's and 80's shows do not hold up well ('Dynasty' comes to mind) even though we love re-watching them. Some other shows still work really great, and PETROCELLI is definitely one of them. It is also great seeing some guest stars go through this show who later ended up being main stars in their own shows.

Petrocelli (TV Series 1974–1976)

Spun-off from the movie "The Lawyer" (qv), "Petrocelli" is a great, one hour courtroom drama starring Barry Newman as the displaced New York Lawyer in the desert, Tony Petrocelli. In the late 1990s there was something of a revival in its popularity in the UK, when the BBC began screening it daily in their early afternoon (2pm) slot.

Petrocelli is assigned to defend him and the guy claims she picked him up and took him to a motel where he was with her but left as soon as he could and left his bag that had his things in it that were found with her body in her car. Petrocelli learns that the woman was the wife of a prominent businessman who saw other guys on the side.
